At least 21 of Russia's 38 major refineries - where crude oil is converted into functional petroleum products like petrol and diesel - have been attacked in recent months, almost half again as many as during the whole of 2024. Continuing Conflict Simultaneously, assaults from Russia against Ukraine are persisting. The country's military aviation reported Wednesday its air defense systems eliminated or took out 154 aerial vehicles, but multiple reached destinations in numerous areas.
